YouTuber Saurabh Joshi Received Threats
Famous YouTuber Saurabh Joshi received threats in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in which a letter was sent to Saurabh Joshi in which his family members were threatened with death and two crore rupees were demanded from him. The accused who threatened Saurabh Joshi was a resident of Badaun district of UP who demanded extortion by posing as Karan Bishnoi. The accused came to Haldwani to threaten Saurabh Joshi and after giving the threatening letter to Saurabh Joshi’s house, the accused did not run away from the city, his plan was to take two crores. The accused kept roaming outside Saurabh Joshi’s colony, due to which the police caught the accused within 12 hours.

How did the accused get caught by Uttarakhand Police?
The accused was caught very quickly by Uttarakhand Police. Here the accused showed a lot of inexperience. He gave his Instagram ID in the threatening letter to Saurabh Joshi. The Instagram ID was created in the name of Karan Bishnoi in which Lawrence Bishnoi’s DP was put, which made it easy for the police to find the accused and the police quickly caught the accused. Taking immediate cognizance of the matter, under the leadership of Prahlad Meena IPS Senior Superintendent of Police District Nainital, the main source of the threatening letter given to Saurabh Joshi was found out and the input of the whereabouts of the accused was obtained by scanning all the CCTV cameras. The police team made an efficient plan to arrest the accused and arrested him today on 18.11.2024 near Olivia Colony within just 12 hours.

Today on 19th November, Saurabh Joshi posted his daily video vlog in which Saurabh Joshi told about the incident that happened with him. In the video, Saurabh Joshi tells that someone gave a letter to the guard of his house in which it was written that no one other than Saurabh Joshi should open this letter. As soon as Saurabh Joshi got this letter, he quickly opened it and was stunned. Saurabh Joshi immediately called the nearest police station and registered his complaint. The police took immediate action and deployed police inside and outside his house and outside the colony for security. Saurabh Joshi thanked Haldwani Police and Uttarakhand Police in his video post and said that the police cooperated with him very well and very quickly caught the accused. Saurabh Joshi and his family were very upset for the last two days due to this threatening letter. In this video vlog, Saurabh Joshi appealed not to earn money quickly through shortcuts. Along with this, his family members also expressed their opinion on this incident. Saurabh Joshi’s mother told him to work hard and achieve something and not take such shortcuts. The name of the accused person is Arun who had created an ID on Instagram in the name of Karan Bishnoi and had Lawrence Bishnoi’s DP. The accused wanted to earn money quickly and used to follow accused Saurabh Joshi on Instagram and YouTube. When Uttarakhand Police interrogated the accused, the accused told that Lawrence Bishnoi’s name was appearing in both the newspapers, due to which he thought of demanding ransom in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi. Police caught the accused through CCTV surveillance and the threat. SSP Nainital told in his press conference that the accused had asked for 2 crores within 5 days. In the press conference, SSP Nainital told that to catch the accused, he used his informer network, CCTV footage and internet surveillance.
